Computer Art

Instructor: Daniel Pearson
Computer Art is a new class at CPH and was offered for the first time during the 2012-2013 school year. It is similar to Multimedia, however the Computer Art class is a year-long course and satisfies the "F" - Fine Arts requirement of the A-G requirements for admission into the UC or CSU (and beginning with freshman this year a graduation requirement from SUHSD). Students will use computers to develop their artistic perception and to create art. We will use a variety of tools and resources including but not limited to:
  • Photo Editing Software such as Photoshop or Pixlr
  • Illustration Software such as Illustrator or Inkscape
  • Page Layout Software such as In Design or Word
  • The Internet and the World Wide Web
  • Web 2.0 tools such as Wikis and Blogs
