Mentor Panel Event


This Mentor Panel Event is one of several events during the school year that is designed specifically to help the students develop their:

  • Communication Skills

  • Personal Growth

  • Increase in Self-Confidence

  • increasing Interpersonal Communication abilities

The Mentor Panel Event comprises one day, on campus, either first or second semester, where the Instructor, Mr. Mark Pearson, has invited several Professional Business Persons, from the Community, to meet with the business students in small groups to talk about the career environment, educational requirements for their career area(s), and what it's like to work in his/her career field.


Organization of the event is as follows: Assuming 8 Business Professionals, there will be 8 5-foot tables distributed throughout the Cafeteria space. The students will be invited in and distribute themselves about 4-6 students per Mentor Table. The communication
