Supermarket Operations

This course provides entry-level training in all phases of the grocery industry. Employment possibilities include bagger, produce clerk, cashier clerk and shelf stocker. Instruction covers the following areas: bagging, scales, cashiering, multiple pricing and stocking. Approximately 180 hours of attendance are required for course completion. Completion depends upon the student's entry-level skills and rate of progress in the class.

Counseling Info
Students participate in on-the-job training as a part of this course. Students must meet required course standards and obtain permission of the instructor prior to an on-the-job training assignment. Students must conform to dress codes and other standards required by the training site management
